Bollards.
F= QRA is aware of concern from some retailers and tenants about the presence and operation of the bollards on Ferry Lane and Town Meadow. From the initial planning phase, Ferry Lane and Town Meadow were designated pedest= rian only areas, hence there are no pavements separating pedestrians from vehi= cles. Prior to site completion, there were increasing incidents of dangerous driving as well as damage to benches, bins, and planters by vehicles. Rep= air costs had to be met from service charges. &= nbsp; To ensure greater ease of access, investigation to= be done of viability and costs of a taxi pick up/put down point in the car p= ark. &= nbsp; |
